Chapter 8

All day the others were quiet and gazed at him often. What's going on here? He had thought to himself. They were traveling now but nothing had changed. They were still quiet and gazed at him every now and then. He walked back to Eva. "What's going on here?" He asked her. "Well we all know about what Rizegreymon said about you. So, we wanted to keep quiet and not disturb you. We thought you would be thinking about it." She explained.

"Huh okay. Thanks." He said. So that was why they were so quiet. After a while Kouji noticed all the Digimon had stopped . "I smell trouble." Lukinomon said. "Me to." Zaltzmon said. Ohniromon sniffed and agreed. What now. Kouji thought. There was a digimon they had hoped they would never see again. It was Rizegreymon. And he had a person with him.

He had dark brown hair and wore a red shirt that had two black lines that stretched across it. He wore black shorts and red shoes. "What? Who's that with him?" Kouji said. "Oh no he's back." Leo said. "If we couldn't defeat him once, how are we supposed to defeat him now?" Lukinomon said. "Hah you all are so weak. Rizegreymon, attack!" The boy said. "Atomic Inferno!" The fiery blast came towards them. They ran out of the way.

He kept firing the attack but they still managed to get out of the way. But instead of it being an advantage for them, it had driven them apart. They were split up. Kouji realized their plan. It was to drive them apart and attack the one they couldn't get to. Which in fact was Eva. "Attack Rizegreymon! The boy yelled. "Ground Smash!" Rizegrey-
mon hit the ground with his fist.

"Get out of there, Eva!" Kouji ran at her trying to get her out of the way. The attack spread throughout the area. Kouji fell to the ground, his legs trapped under a rock. The others were stuck to. "Now then, time to eliminate her. Rizegreymon, go for it. The boy said calmly. As if in a trance. Rizegreymon charged at Eva. She was stuck to. She tried to get away but it was no use.

He came upon her. "Stop don't hurt her!" Kouji yelled. "Don't hurt her. You have no quarl with her." Cory said. "Sorry not, but orders are orders and they are meant to be carried out without hesitation. Now then, do it." " Flaring Vortex!" Rizegreymon summoned a ball of fire that started to grow until it was as big as him. He whipped his arm across causing it to spin and threw it at Eva.

"No!" Kouji yelled. It hit her. The force threw them all back. Then the light died down. Kouji swallowed. That was a strong attack. He looked up at the scene. He found Eva. He saw he was free and ran over as fast as he could to her. Rizegreymon and the boy were standing a few yards away watching and surveying. "Eva, Eva are you okay?" He asked her. He came up to her and leaned down next to her, his face bent close to hers. She didn't respond. "Please wake up. Please." He said desperately.

  Still she did not move. Oh no. He thought he could not lose her. In the six days they had been together, he had grow quite attached to her. He picked her up and put her in his lap. He realized something then and there. That strong pull he had felt toward her when they first met, he had felt it through their travels. He now knew what it was. He had to search deep for it but he now knew. He was in love with her.

From the very beginning, he had loved her. And now here she was lying in his lap unconscious and hurt. The girl he loved. "Please wake up. I love you." Kouji said. She stirred. Her eyes opened. They were a magnificent pink. "Is it true? Do you love me?" She asked. "Yes it's true I do." He said. "Well then, in that case you should know, that, I love you to." She said.

He locked eyes with her, their faces less than an inch apart. Then he kissed her. He cupped her face while her arms were wrapped around his neck. He put his hand on her back and pulled her closer. Then they stopped. Conscious of people watching them. They didn't care though. They stood up. Everyone there was staring at them. Kouji called Lukinomon over. Eva turned into Reavqmon. Kouji turned to the boy. "How dare you hurt her." He said angrily.

"Hah I can do what I want and you can't stop me." The boy said calmly. "Oh really." Kouji said. A blast of light came from his digivice. Lukinomon started to digivolve. A silver light circles around him. "I'm Zelismon now." Zelismon says.

He is a huge, blue wolf with metal legs and forelegs. His eyes have metal surrounding them with a shape curve. His claws are jagged silver lightning bolts as is his tail. Spikes arch out of his back.

He looks powerful. Kouji could feel it. "Hah do you think you can beat me with that puny evolution? Well we'll see about that." Rizegreymon says.
