basically an AU fic. Also I don’t like using the dubbed names it sound so
stupid! So, don’t be offended if I write Rika as Ruki, I just prefer it that
way. The pairings of this story will be: Ryo x Ruki. Also can you please vote?

A small beeping sound was heard in the corner, rubbing her lavender eyes, she climbed out of her bed, brushing the strands of auburn streaked color hair. With a loud sigh, she slammed the alarm clock off and ran towards the bathroom, glancing towards the mirror she let out a grunt realizing that today was a school day; wanting to sleep in she dragged herself towards the closet after brushing her teeth and mopping her face. Glancing towards her closet she dragged out a navy sweater and jet-black jeans, grabbing the black trench coat from a coat hanger she placed it over her attire. Fingering the cherry petal choker in the pocket of the trench coat she walked downstairs a slight smirk was on her face.
Glancing towards her grandmother cooking breakfast, she sneaked out knowing that her grandmother would nag her into eating it. Walking towards the front porch she grabbed her backpack and swung it over her shoulder, casually walking towards her high school she survey the area, spotting Usagi and Onasako. Walking towards them she watched others glare at them, she suddenly had an urge to yell at them for thinking that she was a freak but instantly forgot it when Onasako tapped on her shoulder motioning that it was time for school. Nodding Usagi and Ruki made their way towards class, Onasako on the other hand made his way towards the cafeteria since he was doing his monitorial duty.

“ Ruki Makino and Usagi Fujimoto, it would be nice of you guys to actually pay attention.” Said the Teacher her voice was frustrated from realizing that all the time the two was just staring at her blankly.
Ruki glared towards the teacher knowing that she wasn’t paying attention and neither did she care, for split second Usagi fell towards the ground purposely, so Ruki wouldn’t get into any trouble. The teacher glared towards Usagi and ignored it, continuing again with her lecture, Usagi elbowed Ruki in the ribs indicating that she didn’t want that to happen again, Usagi began jotting down notes from what the teacher was saying. Ruki let out a sigh and began doing the same thing, waiting for the darn bell to ring.
‘Argh… I can’t wait till school is over so I can get away from these awful teachers.’ Thought Ruki.

^_^ School Ends ^_^
Walking out of the school’s entrance Ruki ran outside, jumping on top of a garbage can she slammed the opening of it and slid down a slight smirk emerged on her face as she enter the secret quarters. Usagi and Onasako followed in pursuit their eyes filled with excitement. They together formed the gang Sakurazuka. Onasako the originator of the gang was suppose to be the leader but when Ruki came everything changed, she was agile and manage to defeat Onasako and Usagi in a spar. Even though Onasako was twice her size, she manage to defeat him fair and square, she was smart, strong, and agile. Usagi on the other hand was thin and fragile she never manage to stand up for herself, usually she used her cunning skills to get out of most jams, her long silvery hair was the thing that scared most people away.
“ So Ruki what do you plan to do? You do realize that the new evil is about to rise to power?” inquire Usagi. With a slight nod, Ruki brushed another strand of auburn hair away from her eyes, putting on her biker’s gloves she began inserting a floppy disk into the computer drive, she glanced towards the screen. “There seems to be something wrong in the 5A field of the other planet, a virus occurred in the west hemisphere, we have to go now.” Said Ruki in an impatient tone. Her lavender eyes now held a dangerous glint reflected in her eyes as she ran towards the hidden portal by the backdoor, disappearing behind the portal; Usagi and Onasako followed in pursuit their eyes met for a brief second as both gulped down air and all of them disappeared into the dark portal.
Landing onto the moist grass, Ruki glanced around with a slight disgusted look at the barren land 48 miles away, running towards Renamon (A/N: You wanna know what? Renamon isn’t a deji-mon… she’s a… mobile suit fighting, but this mobile suit appears to be the strongest and mobile suit does have feelings x.x it’s not stupid), she jumped upwards landing on the knee of Renamon climbing towards the cockpit, she opened it up clamoring inside she placed on the helmet, a visor covered her eyes as she glanced towards the screen. “So Ruki are you ready to fight?” said the voice out of nowhere. Ruki nodding silently watched as black dots appeared on the screen, fumbling with her trench coat she pulled out another disk and placed it in the drive, typing a few words she enter another area of the map. “Okay, Renamon contact Usagi and Onasako, tell them the exact location of the enemies are in sector D45 on the north shore of Server.”
Usagi’s eyes widen as she heard the exact location of the enemy, Nazumimon wasn’t as strong as all the others, with a loud sigh she said, “Affirmative, I read you loud and clear, I’m heading my way there now.” ‘Nazumimon you better be ready, this time I heard we’re going to fight a big battle against some of the not fluffy deji-mon mobile suits.’ Making sure that everything in working order, she brushed her silvery hair behind a Nike cap, and began typing in commands for Nazumimon to go to the location; her golden hawk eyes were darting around the screen area checking for any new enemy approaching her, knowing the area was secure she flew off towards the distance to Server. “Usagi, my dear I’ll always fight by your side no mater what.” Said Nazumimon as they took off.
Onasako smirked as he heard the location, his adventures were about to come, live or die he didn’t care, he would fight till the end along with Taiyoumon. Swinging his Wear First cap sideways to only reveal spiky blonde hair underneath, typing in a few keys he glanced towards the screen, “Okay Taiyoumon it’s time for our battle against the new dark evil crap. If I die fighting then well have a nice life, and also please remember me. We are fighting till the end; no matter what Taiyoumon you’ll be my best friend and Usagi... will always be the one I love. Okay Taiyoumon enough with me blabbering let’s go!” exclaimed Onasako with a loud cheer he inputted few words as Taiyoumon transformed into a fiery phoenix form and flew off towards the location. “Onasako, even though I don’t know you for really long and since I always see you trying to pull pranks on me, I always consider you as one of the true friends I have. We will fight together as one and become one.” Said Taiyoumon, his words were as true as ever.
^_^ D45 North Shore of Server ^_^
With a slight grunt, Ruki landed on the barren land of Server knowing that the virus would soon appear to devour the rest of Server glancing back towards the screen she spotted 2 large flying red things, knowing that it was Usagi and Onasako along with their partners she once again glanced forward waiting and hoping that by the time the virus arrives, Usagi and Onasako would be there. Flipping the control switch on, she watched the screen as it turned into vibrant yellow flashing colors; she waited for the knowledge of the enemy to be process in Renamon’s data bank. “Ruki I cannot process the information, the enemy is new and we have no data on him.” Said Renamon in a knowing voice. “Shit!” Cried Ruki, she was annoyed by this situation. Her eyes widen as she heard a beeping sound on the screen, “Renamon, you have to be ready by now we got to attack!” Silently cursing the others for not being able to make it on time, she glanced towards the evil thing coming, with a new determine deadly look on her face she set her target on the thing.
“Taiyoumon (Nazumimon) we’re not going to get there in time to help Ruki! Deji-volve now!” both of them cried out at the same time. Taiyoumon began glowing a vibrant red while Nazumimon glow a calming blue. Both of their eyes flashed open as Taiyoumon began changing his data to a powerful new form of mobile suit battling. “Taiyoumon deji-volve to Kiramekimon!” Taiyoumon back sprouted large fiery wings; he transformed into a fiery demon a long tail at the end, flames embedded all over his body. “Nazumimon deji-volve to Seimon!” a strange essence of light covered Nazumimon, mist began surrounded Nazumimon with a strange shriek she transformed into a masked sea serpent her tail was embedded in sapphires. A strange beam covered her body protectively. “Yahoo!” both of them cried out as their deji-mon quickly flew towards the Server area.
With an irritating glance towards the enemy, Renamon formed a kanji ball from her palms and shot it towards the enemy. Ruki inside was mastering the skills of Renamon; if Renamon were hit she too would take in the damage. Inserting a few keys she activated, a chip: Speed Chip Activating in 5,4,3,2,1! Renamon flew behind one of the black bubbles and fired a red beam of ice shards towards the black bubbles. The black bubbles deflected the attack as it flew back towards Renamon. Renamon began running, her speed increasing, jumping upwards she did a tumble and landed on the ground away from the attack. Renamon fired a green beam towards the black bubbles and watched silently. Yet again, the attack didn’t penetrate the black bubbles, and the attack came towards Renamon. Not having enough time the attack hit Renamon full force, forcing Renamon to fly backwards and crash into the hard rough surface of the mountain, blood spewed from Ruki’s mouth wiping it away she asked to see if Renamon was okay, knowing that Renamon would be okay she forced herself and Renamon to stand. ‘You guys better get here soon, Renamon is getting tired quickly.’
Seimon and Kiramekimon arrived at the site only to find Renamon badly injure, patches of blood covered Renamon’s metallic body, Usagi and Onasako both knew that Ruki was badly injure too. “Seimon attack now!” cried Usagi as she jumped out of the cockpit and ran towards Renamon. Seimon nodding opens her mouth and charged a water beam towards the black bubbles to create a diversion, and fired towards the black bubbles. Usagi ran towards Renamon, her golden hawk eyes were widening with sadness. ‘Ruki isn’t dead, she’s the tough one she’ll survive’ Pressing a button near Renamon’s chest area, she found Ruki hidden in the mess of entangle wires, blood was dripping out of the cockpit. Ruki stood up from the cockpit; her trench coat was a bloody mess and her cherry petal choker was firmly kept in her right clenched fist. “RUKI!” exclaimed Usagi, panic and sadness washed over her face. ‘What happen to her? I’m going to make those evil dumbass thing pay!’ Coughing out blood Ruki walked out of the cockpit and landed on the ground, her auburn spiked hair covered over the wounds on her thin pale face, she watched Renamon with sad eyes, knowing that if she cry it’ll prove her to be weak, placing one of her hands on Renamon’s face she felt the warmth of her fingers leave her and go into Renamon’s face.
“Kiramekimon attack now! So Usagi and Ruki can make it back here safe!” exclaimed Onasako. His fingers were entwined with the cherry petal choker praying that they’ll make it safely. Kiramekimon charged a blinding electrical bolt and fire towards the black bubbles. The black bubbles this time absorbed the attack as if it was nothing and began destroying all data in its path. Onasako’s eyes widen with shock, how were those two going to make it back on time? With a slight growl he formed Kiramekimon into flight mode and flew over towards them, landing Kiramekimon on the ground he ran towards Usagi, and glanced towards Ruki. “You okay?” he question nervously. Ruki only nodded in response. “Onasako, Usagi, we can’t hold them back!” cried both their deji-mon. “Fall back all of us! Retreat!” cried Onasako. “But we have nowhere to go, they’re blocking our escape route!” cried Usagi in utter confusion.
A black bubble charged towards Ruki, without bothering to turn around Ruki already knew that her life was going to end. She waited patiently for the attack to devour her, but the attack never came. Ruki eyes widen as she glanced towards a new creature blocking her path. Six new other creatures appeared from out of nowhere, they were all fighting viciously at the black bubbles. The black bubbles knowing that they couldn’t win against seven new creatures retreated and flew towards their master reporting that the three had new allies. She glanced towards the deji-mon that saved her life; with a slight look of disgust on her face her look of gratitude was replaced with anger. “I’m not a weak girl! I rather die from the enemy along with Renamon rather. You had no right to save me from the attack!” exclaimed Ruki fury outlined her face.
“ I guess I don’t, but you were weak and injure. You would have die in vain.” Said the person hidden in the black deji-mon. A boy around Ruki’s age emerged out of the cockpit, his intense cobalt eyes glared over towards her as he hopped off the platform of the cockpit. “This is Cyberdramon. I am Ryo Akiyama.” Said the boy with a wide smirk. Walking over towards Ruki he glanced towards her and whistle indicating that the others should come out. 2 girls emerged from different deji-mon suits and the rest were boys.
Ruki’s eyes widen, she always thought that Usagi, Onasako and her was the only one who was capable of entering the deji-world and no one else. Ryo placed his gloved hand over Ruki’s clenched fist, the next thing he knew he was 4 feet away from her. Motioning for Usagi and Onasako to follow her, she made her way through them and went towards the portal, landing on the other side of the portal Ruki let out a sigh and relaxed on the couch, knowing that she should be fixing Renamon soon. Usagi on the other hand was busy cleaning their hideout and Onasako was sleeping already. Closing her eyes her mind wander back to the mysterious boy, Ryo.
