Episode 65: The Great Catastrophe, Negamon

Summary:

The Great Catastrophe has begun to move. Cracks/voids are appearing. Leomon sees footage of the children and says the world is falling into a white void. The children are determined to stop it.

A tentacle appears, which sucks the children into a white space where data is being completely obliterated...without their digimon. Thankfully, the children are protected by their digivices.

Appearing before them is Algomon! He tells the children that the one who consumes all is Negamon. They learn that their digivices/digimon are the power to survive, the power to be born, and the power to begin. Negamon is the opposite. The Network: data filled with chaos and fear pass through it, producing negative energy. Negamon chose that energy as the power source to produce the next disaster. Basically, the World's chaos was used as food.

Back on the banks of the Digital World, Agumon and the others are shot from a rigged garbage can in order to reach their partners. However, Algomon is shooting at them! Thanks to the efforts of Komondomon, the Digimon are able to reach the white space.

The children's great determination allows their digimon to super and mega evolve to Hououmon, Heraklekabuterimon, Rosemon, Vikemon, Metalgarurumon, Wargreymon, Ofanimon and Seraphimon.

Algomon is defeated, but ominous words echo from Negamon,
"The time has come to consume life... to consume the World... to consume all!"
