Episode 53: The Geko Hot Springs' Revolt

Joe and Gomamon arrive at the hot springs they once found to heal Patamon and Gatomon. However, a mutant-type Digimon named Kabukimon informs Joe, Hikari, and Takeru that the hot springs have all dried up. He leads them to a mansion, where his lord, TonosamaGekomon, resides.

The children learn that TonosamaGekomon had converted the hot springs into his personal bath. He then grabs Gomamon with his tongue and proclaims him as his wife before blasting everyone else into the snow. Joe recklessly charges back in the mansion, but is blasted away by the Gekomon who are standing guard.

Taichi, Agumon, and Junkmon arrive. They, Blossomon, the Nanimon, Joe and the others come up with a new strategy: lure TonosamaGekomon out of the mansion. When TonosamaGekomon learns of a new hot spring, he decides to go over there and destroy it.

Gomamon learns that TonosamaGekomon can't stand the cold, and has to be carried over in a wooden tub full of hot spring water. TonosamaGekomon jumps into the hot spring only to realize that it is a trap set by Joe and his friends.

Ikkakumon fires a Harpoon Vulcan into a bank of snow above, causing it to fall on the hot spring and weakening TonosamaGekomon. The selfish amphibian Digimon pleads for mercy by offering half of his hot spring to Joe, but his response is a Hammer Spark from Zudomon.

Some time later, the hot springs are restored with everyone enjoying the hot springs, including TonosamaGekomon and Kabukimon, who learned a painful lesson about the importance of sharing.
