The ISS(International Space Station) is quickly heading towards Tokyo. Koshiro finally discovered a workaround. It may be possible to change its trajectory by snipering the falling ISS from a singular point that exists in a distorted space.

To do so, the children need to make it to the top of a pillar of light, and they only have one chance.

On the way up, Koshiro, Taichi, and the others run into many obstacles including lightning, Bladekuwagamon, and finally the Ultimate Digimon, Metallifekuwagamon. However, his friends have Koshiro's back. Metal Greymon even Mega evolves to Blitzgreymon, an evolution adapting from the environment they are in. He is able to fight the attacking digimon while Koshiro goes forward.

Koshiro makes it, managing to snipe through a different space. The change in trajectory works, and Tokyo has escaped danger.
