Taichi learns from the tablet that the Holy Digimon were captured by some unknown enemy.
The children are discussing their next move when Ogremon arrives and challenges Taichi and Agumon. In the last battle his horn was broken. "Horn is pride," Ogremon says. While the two are fighting, a pack of attacking Coredramon approach.
Koshiro and Kabuterimon show up just in time to 'Mega Blast' the attacking Coredramon and reunite with the others. Ogremon takes out more Coredramon until they retreat.
Ogremon and Greymon continue their match, but are again interrupted when a MetalTyranomon (an Ultimate Digimon) arrives and attacks. Greymon is taken down by the MetalTyranomon causing him to revert back to Agumon.
Ogremon felt he had been replaced. Therefore, he tells the children to go straight to find the Holy Digimon. He then takes on MetalTyranomon alone, which results in him making the ultimate sacrifice.
