DIGIMON FRONTIER - EPISODE 39
THE MAN IN THE MOON IS YOU

Episode Summary

Koichi awakens slowly to the sound of Patamon's voice. All of the others are unconscious and have been for hours. Koichi realizes he must get the others to safety and goes off for help. In trying to climb out of the huge crater, he loses his footing.....amazing....he is weightless.

Once Koichi makes it out, he is approached by a tank-like vehicle carrying many helpful Starmon. While transporting all of the children back to their base, the Starmon explained that they are on one of the three moons of the digital world. (That explained the lack of gravity.) The children must have been caught in a warp from some observation point. Koichi ponders that and the fact that he was not injured yet the others were.

The Starmon used their advanced technology to heal the injured children. While they are doing that, Koichi is introduced to SuperStarmon (special attack--Haley's Squall....and he sounds like Etemon). Super Starmon notices the deterioration of the Digital World. Koichi tells him of the Royal Knight's plan.

Back in the Digital World the Royal Knights are gathering data for Lucemon. Yikes! Lucemon is promising to send them to the weak human world if they are able to gather enough data.

The children are now miraculously healed and want to get back to the Digital world....but how? Everyone evolves to see if it will help them think. The Burgermon, Gotsumon, and others residing on the moon are entertained by the antics of these warriors figuring how to get back. They try firing into space or jumping into space....but that just makes them look silly.

Koji's attempt gets him caught in an electromagnetic stream, which is a river of energy in space. Finally, they ask just how the Burgermon and others got there. Behold! They find a rocket in the test stage.

With teamwork, a giant slingshot is created to launch the rocket into space. When the two moons align, an electromagnetic stream will be created which can lead them right to the Digital World. The children strap themselves in and wait. When the two moons align, it's back to the Digital World they go!
