The Chosen Children find a letter from Koji stating he has gone ahead. Much to Koji's dismay, Bokomon and Neemon have followed him. They run into a Gotsumon who is looking for a special stone to revive a spirit. Unfortunately, the Gotsumon is not very friendly. Just then Gigasmon appears looking for the spirit.
Koji evolves to Lobomon, but he is cut down quite quickly. Luckily Gotsumon was there to hide him.
The other children are pacing through tall grass. Grumblemon sees them and begins a vicious attack. Lobomon comes to help which results in Grumblemon evolving to Gigasomon once again.
It looks bad for Koji until Gotsumon throws him a shining rock and instructs him to put it in the eye of one of three large statues. When Koji does that, he is able to evolve to KendoGarurumon of Light.
A fierce battle causes Gigasmon to fall into the sea. Koji de-evolves and topples as well, but he is grabbed by Gotsumon, who unselfishly gave Koji the spirit he had been seeking.
Have we seen the last of Gigasmon????? I think not.
