The Chosen Children decide to camp out in the forest for the evening. As it got darker, they were able to see images of the real world on television-like trees. Tommy became homesick and began to cry. The other children did what they could to cheer him up while lurking behind the trees a devious Tapirmon watched.
Later that evening Tapirmon used his "nightmare syndrome" on Tommy. The young boy had a terrible dream where he believes the other children are teasing him. He wakes up and begins attacking the other children. The children can't understand what happened, but Takuya knew that he had heard something.
Koji spirit evolves and lights up the forest. Thanks to the light, Takuya spirit evolves and captures Tapirmon to be purified.
Tapirmon rewards the children with sweet dreams. Koji, however, was unable to sleep as his digivice began to glow.
