Shortly after a train rejects them, the chosen children come to a fork in the road. Due to a disagreement, Takuya and Tomoki head one way as Izumi and Junpei head another.
Izumi and Junpei come to a
a once very beautiful village where they are given food by the friendly Floramon. The
flower digimon tell their guests how they are struggling to keep their village beautiful,
but they don't get much help. Junpei and Izumi decide to help. Their work is rudely
interrupted by the Mushmon. Izumi finds her spirit power and evolves to Fairymon to
chase off the menacing Mushmon. Unfortunately, the three Mushmon evolve into one very
strong Woodmon.
Meanwhile, Takuya's choice almost proves fatal as the land disintigrates around them.
Luckily they are able to make it to solid ground.
Back at the village, Fairymon tries her best attacks on Woodmon, but he overpowers her.
Kouji hears the disturbance and comes to the rescue evolving to Wolfmon. Wolfmon quickly
defeats the evil Woodmon and purifies the digicode. This returns the Mushmon to the good
digimon they once were.
When Takuya and Tomoki join the others, Izuma boasts of her spirit evolution. A poor,
disappointed Junpei wishes his spirit would appear so that he too may fight. All things
come to those who wait, Junpei....be patient, your turn will come.
