Moto isn't comfortable around boys, but her best friend, Yasuko, is just the opposite. It wasn't always that way. Back in Junior High School Yasuko was just as shy until she started dating Saotome. Moto silently wished Saotome could be hers, but then one day....he just disappeared. It seemed to happen around the time the huge pillar of light brightened the sky.

That's alright....Saotome would have never been interested in her (she doesn't even like herself). But when Moto begins to hear the eerie voice of Saotome calling out to her, she is drawn to the darkness. What fate awaits her? Can Boogiepop save her before it's too late?

Hisashi always wanted to be a hero, but that thought was cut short when he was diagnosed with a malignant bone tumor. Luckily it was caught early enough. When the mysterious light appeared something miraculous happened to Him. He could see and remove spiders from within ones heart. It seemed to help people, but he began to want more and more...They tasted sweet.

What do those spiders represent? Removing the spiders will remove the individual's bad memories....their feelings of guilt and regret. Then one day Hisashi just.....disappeared.....
