Highlights:
Along with the enemy, the 7th Hokage, Naruto, has disappeared. Shikamaru has seen the seriousness of the situation and visits the Uzumaki family with his ninja subordinates. They put a barrier around the dwelling keeping anyone from escaping.
Shikamaru cannot rule out the possibility that Kawaki is a spy and decides to put him under house arrest. Boruto has had a change of heart regarding Kawaki and gets angry over Shikamaru's attitude.
Suddenly, Kawaki feels the chakra that connects himself and Naruto through the arm/hand prosthesis! This means that there is hope that Naruto is still alive!
Before Shikamaru can stop them, the kids use transportation ninjutsu (by using the power of their karmas) to go rescue Lord Hokage.
