Denki is unable to do wall-climbing, which is part of the ninjutsu test. However, he excels at written tests. If he fails ninjutsu, he can't graduate.
Iwabe is having a similar problem with written tests. Yet he is at the top of the class when it comes to ninjutsu.
Metal Lee and Rock Lee help Denki train then present him with a suit like the one they are wearing. The suit is fire resistant.
The next day, Iwabe notices Denki's hard work, and the two decide to tutor one another. To help Iwabe, Denki suggested infusing chakra to help him concentrate....So basically infusing this chakra worked like ADHD medicine without the drugs and side effects. Doing this really helped Iwabe's studies including how to wire a sprinkler system.
It's the day of the test and the two boys feel confident. On their way, Denki and Iwabe are stopped by an apartment fire. They learn that children are trapped inside. Iwabe tells Denki to get to the test while he goes inside the burning building to rescue the children. Denki hesitates, but ends up going inside (using his new suit from Rock) by climbing up the wall.
Inside the building, Iwabe and the children are trapped, but he sees an electrical box and repairs the sprinkler system. Denki finds them and assists Iwabe in getting the children to safety. Unfortunately, they are too late to take the test.
At the school, Shino has heard what they both did and passes them! Great job guys!
