"Driger! Hey Driger!" Rei stuck his head through the door, "Driger! Come here!"  Driger lumbered out through the door, "What!?" he demanded, annoyed.

"Woah, calm down tiger. I just want you to give me the uh, you-know-what."  Driger looked at him blankly. "The whateyhuh?" Rei gave Driger a look. "Oh yeah! Be right back!" Driger went back into the room and Rei sighed.

"Oh brother." he mumbled.

Driger came back with a small black box in his mouth, "Ith Itt phower Mawiah?" he said, still holding onto the box.

"What? Oh, yeah it's for her." Rei took the box from Driger's mouth. "Look, Driger. Its a heart locked with small pink and white jewels on it. I put a picture of us in it. She'll go nuts over it!"

"And nuts over you!" Driger gave him a wink and went back into the room.

Rei went to Mariah's room and put the box on her pillow with a note. "Hope she sees it."

Knock! Knock! Knock! There was someone at the main doors and Mariah went to answer it. She would open the doors, but Kai was standing in the way. Knock! Knock!  "I'm coming!" Mariah shouted, "Move it Kai." Kai just stood there leaning on the doors. "I said move!" Mariah took out her launcher and threw it at Kai's head.

"Ow!" Kai left the doors rubbing his head. He didn't go far though. He went to lean on the wall opposite of the doors. Mariah gave him a funny look then opened the door.

"Hello?" Standing outside was a pretty girl with dark brown hair. She wore a cropped T-shirt and was looking around with her dark blue eyes. "Hi? Can I help you?" asked Mariah.

"What? Oh sorry, hi. My name is..."

"Crystal?" The girls looked at Kai. "Your name is Crystal, right?"

"Uh, yeah. How'd you..." Kai stood up and turned his back.

"After you fell off the cliff, I phoned the hospital. They thought I was your brother or boyfriend or something and gave me all the useless information." Kai walked away and Mariah and Crystal gawked at him. Mariah gave a questioning look at Crystal. Crystal shrugged.

"Okay, what were you saying?"

"Oh yeah. I'm traveling with a friend and I'm wondering if I could stay here for a few days? I won't be in your way at all."

"Who's your friend?"

"Oh? Uh, my Bit beast, Brillo."

Mariah's eyes lit up. "Bit beast? Are you a 'blader?" Crystal nodded. "Then why didn't you say so? C'mon in! I'm sure we have a spare bedroom."

Crystal came in and walked beside Mariah.

"What's your point of traveling around?"

Crystal shrugged, "I want to see Japan, I guess. Maybe get some solid Beyblade competitors."

"Cool. Here's your room."

"Thank you, uh..."

"Oh, duh!" Mariah slapped her forehead, "My name's Mariah, member of the White Tigers!" Mariah and Crystal became fast friends.

Kai was in the Bit beast room with Dranzer. He was wondering about Crystal.  "You are awfully quiet Kai! (A/N: No surprise there!) What are you thinking?" Asked Dranzer.

"I'm wondering about Crystal."

"Does someone have a crush?" Dranzer said slyly.

"NO!! OF COURSE NOT!!!" Kai yelled. All the other Bit beasts in the room looked at him. Kai reddened and glared at them. They turned away. Kai looked at Dranzer, "I think I know her." Dranzer rolled his eyes. "No seriously, Dranzer! I think I know her from way back when!"

"Uh-huh. I'm sure."

"What? Don't believe me?" Dranzer didn't reply. "You don't believe your own, uh, own master!? Wow, you scare me."

Dranzer snorted. "I believe you. Just not now." Kai ignored him and continued with his thoughts.
