Awake
* “Mother!” “Kai!” Kai reached out to his mother, who was fading away, covered in blood *
Kai opened his eyes, then sat up in his bed.
Beside him, on top of the comforter, lay Kaze, sound asleep.
Kai smiled as he watched her sleep, then laid down again.
“Ooooh…” a voice, annoying and familiar, sounded from under the bed.
Kaze jerked awake, then leapt about 20 feet off of the bed, where she landed on the floor on her hands and feet.
“Kai and Kaze! Kai and Kaze!” the voice taunted.
Kaze reached into her pocket and launched her black Beyblade on the floor.
It made a loud, grinding sound as it spun, then shot under the bed.
Almost immediately, Tyson scrambled out from under the bed, then ran around the room as the Beyblade chased him.
Kaze held out her hand, then the Beyblade immediately rocketed towards it. She caught it perfectly.
Tyson panted, then flopped onto the floor.
Rei and Kenny cracked up laughing from behind one of the other beds. They rose up, revealing where they were, then laughed even more.
Kai and Kaze gave the two cold stares, but they just laughed even more.
Finally, Max popped up, revealing a video camera. He showed Kai and Kaze just what he had caught.
An image of Kai putting his arm over Kaze (in his sleep) appeared on the screen.
She blushed really big, while Kai turned around and blushed (*squeals*)
Tyson and the others chuckled.
“Th-that never happened!” Kai huffed, face still red.
Kaze buried her face in her hands “Oh, Kai you jerk!”
Kai turned back around “Wait, Kaze, I didn’t mean-”
(this scene was rather InuYasha-like, ne?)
“We’ll just leave the two of you alone.” Tyson teased as he and the others left, leaving Kai and Kaze just standing there.
Alone.
In the dark.
“Kaze…” Kai glanced over at her, who looked at him kindly “Have you ever… been to the… uh… Balkov Abbey before?” he stumbled over his words.
Kaze looked away, then started staring at the floor.
Kai noticed this “… I see…” he got a little closer to her “… I remember you, and I’ve never forgotten you… well… only when I locked all the memories of the past from myself, but they’ve all been released. I can remember you very clearly now.”
Kaze looked up at Kai and smiled “Kai… I’ve never forgotten you. You look almost the same as you did when we were little, but you’ve gained more confidence, as well as courage. You’re a lot happier now than you ever were, Kai.” (this is sappy in my tastes, but oh well).
Kai wanted to embrace her (hug her already!) but he resisted (crap!) “Kaze, remember when you were going to tell me something right before you moved, but you couldn’t finish?”
She nodded.
“Well… What was it?” he asked her calmly.
She looked straight at the door, walked over to it, then opened it.
Rei, Max, Tyson, and Kenny all fell into the room.
“I’ll tell you later.” Kaze walked out of the room, then out of the hotel.
Kai walked over to the four, who were laying on the floor, and kicked each one of them in the head, then left the apartment.

Kai walked into the biggest park in all of Russia (I forgot what it’s called) and looked around. He spotted a frozen fountain, then noticed a certain someone there as well.
Kaze was sitting by it, gazing at the ice crystals.
Kai continued to gaze at her.
She twitched, then looked back at Kai with kind eyes.
Kai smiled (O_O WOW omgheactuallySMILED *wishes the little neighbor boy wouldn’t say stuff like that whenever he sees a smiling Kai*) and walk-ran to her.
Kaze turned her head as Kai sat down next to her.
“Kaze”
“…”
Kai poked Kaze’s arm, then she turned around.
“Kai…” Kaze was near crying.
