Memories
* “Mother!” “Kai, run up to your room!” “Why?” “Just do it! Lock your door and don’t let them in!” “But-” “Kai!” * A loud, piercing scream echoed through the mansion as Kai knelt in his room crying *

Kai gasped as he sat up in bed. He was out of breath and sweating. After looking around, he got up, put on his shirt, scarf and shoes, then left the hotel.

Tyson threw a piece of paper across the room “Stupid Kai! He left again!”
“Don’t tell me he drug us all the way up here just to explore the Abbey again!” Kenny tapped on his new and improved laptop.
“My ‘Kai-Sensors’ indicate he is…. where Tyson is sitting.” Dizzy said from her sleek, platinum laptop.
Kenny gulped “So that transmitter… Tyson, did you eat that pie we gave to Kai last week?”
“Uh……………..”
“… Nevermind.”
“Yeah! Yeah! Go! Go! WHOO-HOO!!!!!” Max cheered from the couch as he bounced Rei off of the end “Go, InuYasha, go!”
“Tyson did eat that pie. I saw him.” Rei told Kenny as he walked over to the others, rubbing his butt.
“GO KENSHIN!!! Heeey…. Stupid commercial. GO SESSHOMARU!!!!!!!!” Max cheered even more as he threw confetti and glitter around.
“I thought Tyson was bad about obsessing…” Kenny and Rei slid back from the TV.
“Hey!”
Kai kicked the door open, holding a girl.
The girl in his arms wore a large, white jacket, sleeves rolled, with a loose, deep blue sleeveless shirt underneath it and long, cuffed pants. Her long hair was a silver color, same as the crystals embedded in her forehead (arranged like the Digimon Crest of Light)
“Who’s that?” Rei asked Kai.
“Your new girlfriend????” Tyson teased.
Kai kicked Tyson where it really hurts and turned around
“Moron. She’s Kaze Tsukino, the Beyblade World Champion. Where her power comes from, or where she even found it, has never been found out.” Kai explained
“I’m going to take her somewhere…”“Oooh!” Tyson teased from the floor.
Kai stepped on Tyson’s head “… that’s always helped me.” he walked out.

Memories flooded Kai’s head as he gazed at the ceiling.
He sat up, looking around the dusty room again.
Kaze, who was lying on the floor near Kai, was gone.
A dustless silhouette marked where she had been, but no footprints, besides those Kai had made, were around.
Kai looked around, but didn’t see her. He got up and started searching.
He came into the living room, then gasped.
She was knelt down on a certain spot of the floor. Old bloodstains covered the floor around her.
“This is the spot where she died, isn’t it.” Kaze said as she lifted her head and looked at Kai kindly.
Kai took a step back, gazing into her eyes.
* “Hey, Kai!” “Kaze, what are you doing here? I thought you were moving.” “I am, but I wanted to tell you something first…” “What is it, Kaze?” “I… I just wanted to say-” “Kaze, we’re going to be late!” Kaze was pulled from Kai and into a car *
“Kaze…” Kai walked towards her “I… I remember…”
She smiled at Kai kindly, then stood up “I’ll bet your friends are waiting. We should go back to them.”
Kai nodded, then followed her out of his old home.

A bright yellow cab sped down the highway, Tyson’s head poked out the window.
“We don’t know where you’ve gone, Kai, but we’ll find you!”
