Phenomeno appears at the Gates of Hell to challenge the Demon King. Of course, Ranzo wants to battle him first causing the usual arguments with Bell. Bell sends Ranzo flying.
Flying overhead, Ranzo comes up with a plan using a plate to close the pitfall of the stadium. Ranzo explains it's the side with the block fence. It's perfect for stamina types and their endurance battles. Ranzo believes he can beat Bell with this technique. If he does, then he will challenge Phoenix.
Phenomeno (and others) watch as Ranzo and Bell battle. It's no surprise that Bell wins. Ranzo accepts his defeat and tells Bell that he better not lose against Phoenix.
