Valt finally arrives at BC Sol, but he is a whole day late. Due to his tardiness, the owner of the facility, Chris, tells Valt that he must take an exam to join. This exam will involve Bey Battles, and only one person can win.

When he arrives at the testing location, who should be there but Rantarou and his improved bey, Blaze Ragnaruk. Although they are very happy to see one another, each knows that they must compete as rivals. Both boys do really well and end up facing each other in the finals. Valt wins with his Valkyrie God, but Chris decides to change the rules and let both boys into BC Sol.
