Outgoing and confident, Runo is a pivotal member of the Bakugan Battle Brawlers. Her battling skills and knowledge of the game have even impressed Dan. Even though individually she is a strong opponent, Runo is a great believer in teamwork. Her guardian Bakugan and friend is Tigrerra, a Haos-attribute Bakugan.

Runo lives with her mother and father and works as a waitress in their restaurant when she is not battling. Aside from the restaurant, you can normally catch Runo arguing with Dan. The truth is....Runo has deep feelings for Dan even if it might not seem like it. She finally admits it to herself during her test with the Element Lord in episode 32. In the last episode, it's evident that the two actually do get together. (Happy endings are nice...aren't they.)
