Mira is a young Vestal girl who traveled to New Vestroia with her father. Her father is a scientist working for King Zenoheld. His job is to probe and analyze the Bakugan in order to create artificial and more powerful Bakugan. When Mira learned the truth, that these creatures were actually intelligent beings, she formed the Bakugan Resistance group in the hopes of freeing them.

Before discovering the truth, Mira would engage in Bakugan battles with her older brother, Keith. She really looked up to him and soon became a very skilled battler. (Mira battles with her friend and partner, Subterra Thunder Wilda.) Shortly before the Resistance was formed, Keith disappeared. Later into the series, we discover that he is actually the infamous Spectra. Mira is devastated by this turn of events and still holds on to the hope that he will do the right thing.
