Even though Marucho is the youngest of the Bakugan Battle Brawlers group, he is very very intelligent. His computer skills and vast realm of knowledge put him close to genius capabilities. (He reminds me somewhat of Izzy from Digimon Adventure as far as intelligence goes.)

Marucho's parents are extremely wealthy, which is why it's easy for the Brawlers to travel the World in the young boy's private aircraft. He is normally accompanied by his friendly, elder butler.

Marucho is strongly attached to his guardian Bakugan, Preyas. He was devastated when he lost him for a time to Klaus. Marucho, also, has a huge crush on the idol group, Jenny and Jewls. That is why you can see him blushing whenever they come around.
