Dan is the series’ main character. Actually, he is typical of most anime involving young boys. He is impulsive, quick tempered, and always ready for action. He wouldn’t be considered a lone-wolf…quite the opposite…Dan enjoys being around his friends and relies on them for support. In fact, he and his friend, Shun, are the ones who actually put together the rules for the game of Bakugan.

Dan lives at home with his mother and father. When not battling, he spends a great deal of time in his room and on his computer chatting with his friends on the Bakugan Website developed by Joe.

Throughout the series, you’ll note that Dan held quite a few different Bakugan (see the Bakugan section for a list), but his main Bakugan is the dragonoid, Drago. The two had their differences at first, but soon grew to be a team that even Masquerade cannot separate.
