Everyone has made their way to the wall. The aftermath of the titan attack has left Ymir badly hurt. Krista (Historia) defends her friend by explaining to Hange that Ymir was protecting them. Hannes arrives, and they learn that no hole was found.

Down further, Reiner is acting strange, and Eren is trying to brush it off. (An earlier flashback showed Hange looking over papers she had received. As it turns out, both Reiner and Bertolt were from the same area as Annie. Eren knows this, but he was told not to say anything.) Reiner asks Eren to come with them and all of this will be over. Mikasa overhears Reiner declare he will carry out his duty as warrior just before regenerating his arm. She begins to attack, but that sends both Reiner and Bertolt into full on titan mode.

Titan Reiner grabs Eren. Eren feels betrayed by two people he trusted. 'YOU TRAITORS!!!!" he yells just before going into titan mode himself.
