At Connie's village, there is no sign of humans or even blood. As Connie turns to leave, he hears the abnormal say "Welcome home." He begins to question what he's heard, but Reiner convinces him that their priority is to to carry out their mission.

That evening, they are able to make it to an old castle called Utgard.

Earlier, Captain Levi, Squad Leader Hange, Minister Nick, Eren, Mikasa, and Armin arrive in Ehrmich District. The Minister is shocked at what he is seeing, but still cannot speak. He does, however, inform them that the one who can is none other than Krista!
