Episode 2: I'm Home

It's Sasha's turn to shine in this exciting episode, which follows volume 9 of the manga.

After discovering Titans to the South, the Survey Corps acted quickly. They sent messengers to each of the four major walled cities in the area. In addition, back at Garrison headquarters, Commander Pixis is notified of the breach.

Sasha has arrived in the area she use to call home. It's been three years since Sasha's been back to her village, and things have changed. She notices a new village, but no one seems to be around...until. Sasha enters the home of a poor woman who is getting eaten alive. A 3-meter titan is feasting on the woman's legs while her poor child watches. Sasha doesn't have her weapons, and an ax won't cut through the nape, therefore, she is forced to escape with the child.

When her horse runs away, she and the child must make a run for it, but the Titan has come after them. She tells the youngster to run and resolves to take out the titan's eyes with a bow and arrow she had grabbed. That will buy them some time. It's close, but Sasha manages to temporarily blind it. She is running down the road when a group of people on horses pass. One of them is her father. The youngster told them about a woman helping her, he was surprised to see it was Sasha. "Sasha, you've become a fine woman," he tells her.

Elsewhere, Eren, Mikasa, and Armin are loaded into a wagon with Captain Levi and Hange. They are curious why the Wall Priest would be joining them. Hange tells them that this priest knew there were Titans within the walls but refuses to explain why. "What could be more important than saving humanity?" Eren questions. Hange explains that she is taking him with them so he can see with his own eyes what is actually taking place.
